Avoid

Simply put, the product is poorly made. Tolerances were clearly more of a suggestion as this filter has very crunchy threads that do not engage smoothly. Par for the course for buying cheap, I thought initially. However, 2 months into owning it, this coupler ring decided to bind with my B+W UV filter. Filter wrenches proved useless, and even larger (more damaging) tools couldn't get it loose. Short of destroying the coupler ring with a dremel (which would likely scratch up the filter) I'm essentially down a quality filter. Whilst it may seem like such a simple product, it is ALWAYS worth paying for quality. In this case, saving a few bucks cost me an $80 filter. I'm just thankful I never attached it directly to a lens!

Does what it's supposed to

I use this for reverse mounting a 24mm lens on my 105mm macro lens for extreme magnification. It screws on and off smoothly and does what it's supposed to. Seems just slightly overpriced for what it is though...
