Digieffects' Interference Effect for Damage v2 Plug-in simulates video clip interlacing and recreates the effect of the clip being displayed on a CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) monitor. Using the Interference effect, you can simulate effects such as night vision, the viewing surface of a green monochrome monitor, security camera transmission, or a consumer video format playing back like VHS or 8mm, all this from within the Damage v2 software UI.
With comprehensive control over individual parameters including comb filtering, field line size, noise, tint, and luminance for alternating lines, the Interference Effect for Damage v2 Plug-in offers an optimum solution for post-production video manipulation. You achieve Field Setup by manipulating individual controls such as the field size, process input, luminance, tint, and tint color available under this parameter.
Under the Noise parameter, you can add noise level to each field, add color to the noise generated, control the number of re-processing or feedback loops of the effect, and generate smears by feeding back distortion into the re-processing loops. You can choose between various modulation methods for generating distortion such as shift, linear, noisy, sawtooth, and wave. Control over the left / right modulation extent is available via the horizontal adj. feature which can be combined with the influence control to define the magnitude of the modulation shift.
You can employ the comb filter control to introduce undesired smoothening of details of the image clip when combined with a delayed version of itself. With support for AutoAnimate, you can easily preview your Interference effect without rendering. The Interference Effect for Damage v2 is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems.
