How does this compare to the Sachtler flowtech 100 MS Carbon Fiber Tripod?
The ENG 2 CF has 2 brake levers per leg, whereas with flowtech you can open both leg sections with one release lever at the top of the tripod. The flowtech has a hinge lock system, you can use the tripod without spreader and achieve a very low position. The tripod is made from carbon profiles instead of tubes which give is a higher torsional stiffness. And flowtech comes with a carry handle.

Whats the weight like? I'm currently using a Sachtler hotpod and was looking into a lighter weight tripod that I could travel with. How much weight difference is there with a hotpod versus this set of sticks with an 18s fluid head on it?
