I use this dolly with my Sachtler FSB8 and FSB4. It is easy to setup. It is very solidly built and with 4 wheeels, it moves smoothly. The only thing I wpuld have liked would be metal wheel locks. The plastic wheel locks are well built, but still, they are plastic. It would really awesome if they were metal also. I would recomend this to all FSB (4/6/8) users.

Yes, the Sachtler XL Dolly will be smoother than the DV100. Mostly becuase the diameter of the wheels is 5 compared to 4 diameter of the DV100.
