Featured background garbage collection function marks the location of the old data as free to write in the future and writes the new data to an empty cell, thereby eliminating the need to write data to a cell on the spot. During the idle phase, the R2 m84 PCI-Express Solid State Drive returns to the invalid data and cleans up those locations.

With read speed up to 700 MB/s and write speed up to 500 MB/s, the R2 m84 PCI-Express Solid State Drive offers enhanced durability and reliability. In addition, it offers sustained write speed of up to 250 MB/s and consumes 12W of power. The drive can be used for applications such as enterprise server storage arrays, super computing, and data warehousing.
