The Bosch NBC-455-55V IP Color Camera consists of a NBC-455-22P camera body, and a LTC 3374/50 lens with 5-50 mm focal length range. With 1/3” color progressive scan CCD sensor, PoE option, and quad-streaming video, the camera delivers clear images at resolutions up to 704 x 480 pixels. Support for features like multicasting, internet streaming and iSCSI recording makes the camera ideal for many surveillance applications. It also features 60 Hz flicker control.
The Progressive Scan technology shoots sharp pictures, even in demanding scenes with high motion content. It incorporates enhanced digital signal processing, which increases sensitivity, and an AutoBlack function that enhances contrast in color pictures by dynamically stretching the illumination levels in scenes to reduce the darkest areas to (near) black. In addition, the NightSense feature increases sensitivity under dark conditions by 3 times in monochrome operation.
With H.264 compression, bandwidth throttling, and multicasting capabilities, the NBC-455-55V Dinion IP camera resourcefully handles bandwidth and storage requirements, and offers high picture quality and resolution. The tri-stream video feature allows the camera to generate 2 independent H.264 streams and 1 M-JPEG stream at the same time. This enables live streaming and recording of H.264 videos, while relaying M-JPEG images to a different device simultaneously. The M-JPEG video stream offers easy coalition with other JPEG or M-JPEG-compatible video management systems.
Built-in Motion+ video motion analysis system is suitable for applications where scrutiny of basic video content is required. The motion analysis algorithm is based on pixel change, and incorporates object size filtering and advanced tamper-detection capabilities.
The NBC-455-55V Dinion IP Camera is compliant with ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum), which enables the ability to exchange and use information between network video products. The ONVIF compliant products can exchange live video, audio, metadata, and control information. These systems are auto detected and connected to video management systems.
With IVA (Intelligent Video Analysis), you can monitor the minutest pixel details, texture, and object direction. In addition, the IP camera supports Auto-MDIX for easy network cabling. It has the ability to view camera’s video on a PC web browser, with the Bosch Video Management System, or with VIDOS.
Facility to remotely upgrade latest firmware updates results in low investment costs. The camera is equipped with many security levels for accessing the network, the camera, and the data channels. In addition, the camera also supports password security with three levels, 802.1x authentication using a RADIUS. It uses HTTPS with a SSL certificate for safe web browser access, while AES encrypted with 128-bit keys (license required) can be used to encrypt video and audio channels separately providing complete data protection.
The NBC-455-55V Dinion IP camera features a LensWizard, which detects lens type automatically and helps to maintain accurate lens focus. The LTC 3374/50 Varifocal Lens offers focal lengths ranging from 2.8-10 mm for the 1/3” image sensor of the NBC-455-55V camera. Featuring a maximum aperture (f-stop) of f/1.4, the lens ensures high-quality images even in low-light conditions. Focus and zoom functions of the lens are manually controlled. The lens is equipped with a DC-iris control connection which can be controlled via a 4-pin standard plug connecting directly to the camera’s iris output. The LTC 3374/50 Varifocal lens has a CS mount, and features a robust construction to withstand frequent iris control operations and the environmental stress of security installations.
