A versatile paper for general black and white enlargements, this box of 50 sheets of 30 x 40" Multigrade IV RC DeLuxe Paper from Ilford features a pearl 44M surface finish that has a more textured appearance than glossy paper to help reduce overwhelming surface reflections, yet still retains some reflectivity to achieve deeper black values for a longer apparent tonal scale. Its bright white base tint delivers a cool-to-neutral image color, and it responds well to select toners, especially selenium, for increasing the effective print lifespan. As a variable contrast paper, it responds to seven full grades of contrast during printing, when using multigrade filters, and it is suitable for printing both conventional black and white negatives as well as chromogenic black and white negative films. Additionally, the paper can be processed using standard black and white chemistry in either trays or using machine processors.

Ilford Multigrade IV RC DeLuxe Pearl Reviews
Ilford Multigrade 1V is the best RC paper ever made.
I have been using this paper exclusively since it replaced Multigrade III (Many years ago), and I have never even thought about using another RC paper. It is perfect for guide prints, as I can print many different RC prints in the same time that I print one fiber print. Although the fiber print is a tad richer and more archival, I use this paper whenever I want something that I do not plan on mounting (Or selling), as it is fantastic paper and a real time saver.
Good Quality
We used this paper on a Pinhole Camera Project that I worked on with my sone. We didn't want to get into developing film. So we used this as the film so to speak. We made a rudimentary dark room an cut sheet into smaller 4x6 sheets that we used as the film for the Pinhole Camera. It worked out well!
Great for Contact Sheets
This paper is just the right size for making contact sheets from 35mm film in the print file pages. It's nice to just lay the page on the paper and not have to wrestle with keeping negatives straight in a contact frame. Suspect this was why this size was created in the first place.
Ilford doesn't dissapoint
This paper is exactly what you expect. Easy to use, fine quality, and at a good price.
Great quality paper
A little slower than some of the off brands, but can't beat the tonality and flatness of this paper.
woohoo
comes in safely, plastic black bag on the inside does not have tape on it to keep it closed if opened in light (folded over though), develops well in chemicals and looks nice and matte with my pictures
amazing
works perfect in my photography class :)
Not what I expected
Not what I expected, the paper stock weight is much heavier than what I am used to and the images are softer than I expected. Even though it's called Pearl it's more like matte.
