Is it an acidic fixer?

Yes, the Foma Fomafix (500 ml) is an acidic fixer. If you would like an alkaline fixer, I recommend the Photographers' Formulary TF-4 Archival Rapid Fixer for Black & White Film & Paper - Makes 1 Gallon (https://bhpho.to/4eIVvnU).
