The black 1620 Case with a Porta Brace Interior Case from Pelican is an unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical resistant and corrosion proof hard case used to carry any kind of equipment that needs to be protected from the elements. It is made of Ultra-High Impact structural copolymer that makes it extremely strong and durable. It has a 0.25" (6.4 mm) neoprene o-ring, ABS latches that seal perfectly and includes an automatic purge valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure.
The 1620 comes with two side haul handles, front haul handle, an extension handle and strong polyurethane wheels with stainless steel bearings. It has an effortless release latch for the extension handle. The padlock protectors provide added strength and extra security against cutting and theft. It is NATO-codified and tested to MIL C-4150J (Military Standard). This case has a six-piece foam insert set.
The Porta Brace PB-1620ICO Interior Case is designed to replace the interior of a Pelican 1620 series case. It contains a soft Porta Brace 1000 denier Cordura case with a carry handle and a LongLife Divider Kit inside. The kit contains a padded laptop storage area in the case lid. It also has bendable, padded dividers that provide protection for lenses and other items. A soft fleece pillow filled with foam micro-beads provides extra padded support for cameras and fills all of the remaining space to secure contents in place. There are padded, zippered pouches ideal for storing lenses, filters, and small accessories.

The PB-1620ICO Interior Case from Porta Brace is designed to replace the interior of a Pelican 1620 series case. PB Hard Case models ending with "ICO" are Interior Case Only replacements and Up-Grades to the foam interiors. When the foam wears out, use the ICO to improve the performance. It includes pouches, pillows and divider planks that give you greater flexibility in configuring your ever-changing equipment requirements. ICO's can even be used with many competing brands of shipping cases with worn out foam interiors.
