The Toshiba Indoor IP Mini-dome Camera with a 1/3.2" (2 MP) SuperCCD image sensor delivers clear images in JPEG and MPEG-4 formats at a resolution up to 1600 x 1200. The camera uses IR cut filter to switch between color and B&W as per the changes in ambient lighting. A minimum illumination of 0.04 lux at f/1.2 (night mode) makes the indoor camera suitable for low-light surveillance. The camera features 4 to 88mm lens and supports 22x optical zoom, offering a closer view of remote objects.
Featured 2-way audio with built-in mic enables you to communicate with visitors or potential intruders from the operator's base station. Motion Detection triggers an alarm when motion is detected in a designated portion of the video display. You can also receive e-mail notifications when motion is detected or upload pre and post alarm snapshots via FTP. With Tamper Detection, the camera triggers an alarm when the camera is being tampered with e.g. if it is redirected, blocked, defocused, or spray-painted.
With ePTZ operation, you can move the focus to the viewing area for a close-up view for easy identification of remote objects without moving the camera physically. The SD card slot for on-board storage prevents data loss due to network connection and also makes efficient use of bandwidth by reducing the transmission of unnecessary data.
The mini-dome camera includes Auto White Balance feature that adjusts the red and blue signals in the MWB mode by taking a standard white color reference to get the most natural colors. Backlight Compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light. By configuring the privacy mask setting, the camera will hide some portion of the images for enhanced security. PoE supplies power to the camera from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets.
