Fits well, Reduces plosives on MKH50
No idea where I put my original included windscreen. Realized close-miking the mkh50 it sounded too plosive-y and needed the highpass filter hardware switch engaged to not sound too bass-y. This unit works well and is priced ok. Noticed it reduced some of the hiss like the s in almost which is nice. Similarly reduced the plosives a bit too. Worth it. Combined with highpass filter switch on and foam windscreen on, the mkh50 at close range (around 2ft n closer) sounds more clean and clinical. Which is good when you are shooting on the worst locations imaginable, which seems to be the only environs i ever shoot on.
Wrong windscreen
From the description on the website, I thought this would fit my Sennheiser headset, and the photo on the website made it look the right size, but in fact it's about 100x too big! It seems to be made for a handheld mike, not at all for a headset mike.
