Intel 80GB 2.5" mSATA MLC 310 Series Solid State Drive

The Intel 80GB 2.5" mSATA MLC 310 Series Solid State Drive, with 34nm NAND flash memory and 10-channel controller architecture, provides enhanced performance and reliability. Featuring a lightweight (less than 0.02 lb / 10 grams) and compact (less than 0.19" / 4.85 mm thick) design, it can be easily integrated in to dual-drive storage for traditional embedded platforms as well as single-drive systems such as netbooks, tablets, and other hand-held devices. It offers read speeds of up to 200 MB/s and write speed of up to 70 MB/s, and supports SATA signals over a PCI Express (PCIe) mini-connector. The small factor allows it to be easily connected to an existing mSATA port on a PC enabling the SSD to perform as a boot drive.
