2-Port Cable KVM Switch with HDMI is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works perfect for connecting the work tablet dock Short story, I can telework a good percentage of the time, and we have a high end tablet for use in the office and in the field. At the office, I have a hard dock and dual monitors. Just undock and attach the keyboard and head into the field. I had limited computer desk top space at the home and did not really have room to add another monitor. So I asked for one of the spare tablet docks and added the HDMI KVM to flip between the home system and the docked tablet at the house. Works like a breeze. Just plug everything up and go. No configuration, no drivers, no nothing, just works. I should have done this months ago.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 3840 x 2160 @30Hz wouldn't work. Flashed display. I could not get IOGEAR’S GCS62HU (2-port) or GCS1794 (4-port) KVM’s to support 4K resolution even though their website says both support “Up to 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 @30Hz (with compatible 4K graphic card and 4K monitor)”. When either computer is hooked directly to the monitor everything works perfectly at 3840 x 2160 @30Hz I used both an I5 Surface Pro 4 with Intel HD Graphics 520 (through an IOGEAR GMDPHD4KA Active Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter with 4K Support) and a Quad Core Intel Desktop with Radeon R7 250 graphics card hooked to an LG 27UD58-B (4K) monitor. Marco & Larry on IOGEAR’s Tech Support team provided exceptional support to resolve this issue. They tested my original GCS62HU, a new one from their RMA dept. and a GCS1794 trying to solve this issue. I’m still working with them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from HDMI KVM that should Though this kvm is good, it really lacks. I expected this to be more modern & in tune with what is out there, not limited as much as it is. Hooking up the two towers to the tv, easy enough. The refresh time is annoying, & you have to set it each time you start the computer-dumb. I don't want it each time. I picked up a powered usb hub, so I could finally link some drives, & printers between the computers. Tried getting it to work-no go. Contacted Iogear, they were wonderful. Bottom line, they don't know what hub will work with it. AWESOME, I now have a 7 port usb that I don't need. It hooked up fine with my Microsoft wireless KM combo. No issues, but not being able to use the hub is a waste. I'm sure there will be other options out there that don't allow you to as well. I haven't tried the sound & mike ports as yet, not sure they'll work or not. The cables between the computers, is too short. The remote switch is long enough, but your computers have to be together. Unlike their kvms of the past. Another irk, is having to have a usb for the mouse & one for the keyboard. Really? My cheap Charlie usb kvm only need one. That may not be an issue for some, but I need all of mine for the equipment.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Amazed there is no strong alternative I bought this product about 2 weeks ago and have been pulling my hair out ever since. I'm now looking for a new one because it is just awful. I use it to hook up a Mac Mini and a Win8 laptop to a monitor that is less than a year old, a wireless keyboard and mouse, a printer, and a USB audio system. My first issue with it was that in order to be able to use anything other than a keyboard and mouse you need to have a wired keyboard, if only to use the once to turn off the mouse emulation. Absurd, but I was able to borrow one so that was deal-with-able (assuming I'd never have to go through the process again). In terms of my other USB items, their set up guide indicates that you should attach your mouse and other peripherals (like a printer) through a USB hub, so I did. Somehow, though, the KVM switch sometimes decides that it doesn't feel like seeing that my printer or speakers are connected. That, at least, is fairly inconsistent. What is constant is that the screen just randomly turns off. Yup, there it goes. Sitting here writing my review and it apparently thinks that if I can't see it anymore I'll forget what I'm doing. What's more fun is that sometimes when I either turn the computer on or wake it the KVM doesn't bother telling the monitor at all and in order for me to be able to make the video happen I have to unplug and replug the HDMI. And the amazing thing, the thing that I just cannot fathom, is that I can't find an alternative KVM switch with HDMI that's by a manufacturer I recognize. At this point, though, I just don't care. Do yourself a HUGE favor and find yourself another option.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from mouse part is weird The hdmi on each works fine but the mouse dont give full motion on either system it controlls. it also goes super fast up and dowm. I made adjustment in my control panel but still has no range of motion. I went and got a seperate mouse and keyboard for each syatem. I would not buy another!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like a charm! This product was just the ticket for me hooking up 2 Mac mini's to a single monitor. I tucked everything in the back of the desk with the small switch button (long silver button on small black box) taped to the bottom of the monitor. SUPER easy to set up and works great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All's good I had to call IOgear's C.S. to set up my gaming keyboard and mouse. The first guy didn't know what I was talking about. Called back and this guy stepped me through the process and waited for me to make sure all was OK.
