The Sibelius Garritan Personal Orchestra 4 is an award-winning sample library that features a strings section, woodwinds section, brass section, percussion section and a keyboards/harps section. The collection includes samples from a Steinway grand piano, Stradivari violins, Guarneri violins, concert harps, celesta, concert pipe organ and much more. This version of GPO even features select brass samples from Project SAM, as well as choir sounds and other unique samples.
GPO4 includes world-class samples, but it also boasts world-class functionality. It's equipped with auto legato, Ambience reverb with the ARIA Player, individual mix sends for each instrument, and Stereo Stage for spacious stereo acoustics. The ARIA instrument engine features support for individual instrument tuning, the frequency serving as the overall pitch standard and Scala definition files for standardized scale degree tunings. This library also eliminates the need for a sampler, as it features the ARIA high-performance sample player. And, each instrument was designed to be played in real-time.
You can build ensembles, duos, trios, quartets, chamber groups and even full symphony orchestras. GPO4 has notation integration as well, so you can play from a score. The library is expandable and it's also designed for everybody including lifetime musicians, composers, songwriters and hobbyists. Plus, GPO4 comes in a universal format that is compatible with both PC and Mac computers as a stand-alone program or a plug-in.
