The Crumpler Karachi Outpost - Medium (Black / Gunmetal) is a camera/laptop backpack. It features a tough 1,000D / Denier Cordura nylon exterior designed to weather the elements and keep your equipment dry. 300D Rip-stop lining, flamed polypropylene webbing and bonded nylon thread on all stress points help make this a truly tough, durable pack. Its main zipper opening is in the rear, so that, on location, you place the bag front-side down to access your gear - meaning the bag's harness, back pad - and you - all stay cleaner. Both the padded main compartment and padded laptop compartment are fully configurable and removable, so you can take only what you need at any given time. The laptop compartment boasts the capacity for a 15" (38.1 cm) laptop and 6-pocket organizer. The Karachi features wide, ergonomic, EVA foam-filled, fully adjustable harness straps, combined with chest and waist belts to distribute weight evenly across your body. On-location shoots will never be a pain in the neck again! There's also a durable, cushioned carry handle. Air Mesh padding and venting channels help keep you cool while you carry your stuff.
