Prints Pop, But Some OBAs

This Paper Has An Excellent Tonal Range, A Wide Color Gamut, And A Subtle Surface Texture—Hahnemühle Refers To It As “high Gloss,” But I Think That’s An Exaggeration—with Black And White Values As Good As Any Paper I Have Tried. The Latter Really Make Prints “pop,” Thanks To The Presence Of A Modest Amount Of Optical Brightening Agents. Away From Ultraviolet Sources And Under Glass, In A Typical Gallery Or Home Setting, I Don’t Think There Is Any Cause For Concern About Yellowing—although I Presume The Paper Doesn’t Meet Museum Archival Standards.

Disregard that last response...I had last purchased the Photo Rag Matte 308g and responded to that.

A reviewer mentions that this is glossy paper, but is it glossy or more like a semi-gloss?
It’s thick paper similar to lustre in the gloss aspect. Only when you move it around is when you see it shine. It’s my favorite type of paper. This is the only kind I use.

question
Hello, I am looking to buy an inkjet paper to print in black and white. The paper texture I am looking for is very similar to the old traditional Ilford paper rigid and the texture like pleached, interwoven, I don't know how to explain but I have a picture I can send to you. If you zoom it you can look at the texture I am talking about. Could you please help me? Regards, Carlos Herdocia
Baryta paper is very similar to the Ilford Multigrade darkroom paper in both texture and thickness. Since I am a former darkroom printer, this is my favorite paper because of its resemblance to the Ilford Multigrade paper.

can I use this to hand titint with marshalls photo oils or will the ink smear?n
The glossy surface on the Hahnemuhle FineArt Baryta Paper would not work well with Marshalls oils.
