The D-Link HD Outdoor Day/Night Network Camera, with a 1/4” megapixel progressive CMOS sensor and 4mm fixed-focus lens, provides high quality imagery at resolutions up to 1280 x 800 pixels at 30 fps. With a built-in IR cut removable filter, the camera offers crisp color images in day time & grayscale images with enhanced visibility in low-light conditions. You can manually apply the ICR filter via a web interface or set it on an automatic mode to change according to lightning conditions. The Outdoor Network Camera features IR LEDs for day/night surveillance purpose, and offers an illumination distance up to 49.2’ (15 m) under complete darkness.
Supporting simultaneous streaming of H.264, MPEG-4 and MJPEG videos, the Outdoor Network Camera provides high-quality and bandwidth efficient compression. In addition, the Outdoor Network Camera supports multicast MPEG-4 streaming, which enables the user to view content with support from a multicast IP address on the network.
The Outdoor Network Camera features an IP-66 certified weatherproof housing, which provides protection against dust and rains. The tamper detection feature warns you with an audible or a visible alarm whenever the camera is re-directed, de-focused, blocked, or spray-painted, and respond quickly. Digital I/O ports allow you to connect the camera to external devices such as IR sensors, switches or alarm relays, and RS-485 interface for connecting pan/tilt enclosures.
Being compliant with the Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) standard, the Outdoor Network Camera is interoperable with other products such as cameras, storage systems, video analytic products, and video management systems connected to the same network.
Using the D-ViewCam software that comes with the Outdoor Network Camera, you can monitor up to 32 cameras on a single computer screen. In addition, the software includes features such as video recording, playback, and video live view. With Motion Detection feature, the camera records video when motion is detected.
You can view live video data on a 3G mobile phone with a 3G video player capable of RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol) in real-time anywhere within your 3GPP service area. Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) supplies power to the camera from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets.
Image features such as time stamp, text overlays, 3 configurable motion detection windows, 5 configurable privacy masks, flip & mirror, adjustable image size / quality / bit rate, and configurable brightness / saturation / contrast / sharpness are available.
