German Etching Paper 17 x 22" - 25 Sheets is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I will always buy this product from B&H. I have used Hahnemuhle German Etching paper for my fine art photographic prints for many years and even though I have experimented with other papers, I always come back to it. Matte black inks print beautifully on this paper and its exhibits an exquisite tonal range for my black and white images. I like ordering it from B&H because they ship fast and they package purchases well; in the past I have used other suppliers and the shipping box has arrived damaged, rendering the printing paper useless. I am always satisfied with what I order from B&H.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Prints I use this paper to further enhance texture in the subjects that I photograph like wood, horses, and vegetation. I use an EPSON 3800 printer and the prints are beautiful and consistent. It's not for bright colors or significant contrast. Great use for subtle colors and monotones. Be sure to brush paper with a horse-hair drafting brush to remove any loose fibers before loading into printer. Use ICC profiles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful texture - ultra quality for fine art reproduction - doing prints of my paintings - i thought this paper was fantastic. i love the texture, and quality of the prints - printed with an epson pro 3880. - i was thinking of doing some photo prints and painting and drawing on top or something to do some mixed media works - the paper is very classy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this paper longtime ! I first saw this paper being used by Mark Klett in Arizona. Ever since then I've only used this type - the tooth and lack of gloss is exactly what I want out of a wide format paper. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from beautiful inkjet paper This is a wonderful paper for printing high quality artistic prints on your inkjet printer. I use it with my (aging) Epson 7600 and am impressed with the quality of the print. After printing, the ink will not run even if the paper is soaked in water. I have used it to print intaglio on a printing press over the inkjet print, where the paper must be damp - it works fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A luxurious paper German Etching is a heavy paper that feels great in the hand and looks wonderful, especially when the light catches it just right. On the down-side, ink deposited on the surface is easily damaged, unlike most glossy or matte finish papers I've used. Be sure to set the printer's platen gap width to one of the wider positions to avoid ink smears along the edge of the paper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fine Art paper gives new dimension to photograph For best results, since the paper has a heavy texture, increase the contrast and over-sharpen the image slightly. I downloaded the paper profile and then printed using Relative Colorimetric through Photoshop. I love the results!
