Museum Etching Paper (13 x 19", 25 Sheets) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed feelings First the good news: HME is a matte paper with a wide color gamut and reasonably high Dmax. Images are exceptionally sharp and detailed. The base white is slightly warm. Now the bad news: The surface texture is a very strong pebble pattern that is quite visible if the light source strikes the paper at an oblique angle. This can be especially disconcerting in uniform areas, such as skies. Frankly I did not expect the surface texture to be so prominent, as I had not read comments to that effect from other users. I doubt that I will be printing on this paper very often.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning An incredible 100% cotton rag heavy weight paper designed to the highest standards of any discriminating photographer. This paper brings out the most subtle details of an image, creating a stunning, crisp image. I use this paper on my Canon 9000 Mark II printer for landscape images and absolutely love the end product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hahnemuhle Museum Etching Paper for fine art prints I have been trying various textured matte papers for my portfolio photographic prints, printed on and Epson 3880, and believe that I have finally found a paper that meets my requirements in all respects. While it takes some mental adjustment in getting used to processing a file for printing with HME paper, due to the lower DMax compared to glossy or luster paper, the results can be very gratifying. Prints have a great visually soft texture while holding wonderful visual acuity in the in-focus areas and maintaining good detail in the shadows. It is a thick paper and has nice tactile feel when handling it. All in all I like every thing about this paper very much except for the price. Its cost limits it use for only my best works but then that was what I searching for to begin with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent paper for giclee printing Nice, heavy high quality fine art paper! Excellent surface for giclee prints. The individual sheets work wonderfully and stay flat and is very easy to work with. (This experience is opposed to my experience using the same product on the roll which tended to stay curled and which is undesirable. However, other friends have not had a problem with curling. Perhaps we were using a roll that had been on the shelf too long rolled up.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Texture This is a very heavyweight paper with wonderful texture. It adds a nice depth to B&W as well as color prints. Color gamut is not all that wide, but great for softer images. Prints well in Canon pro-100, 9000 and ipf 5100. Love that the paper has been around for ages.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Museum Etching Photographic Paper IS the Penultimate Museum Etching has strength in its sheer weight, but also the subtlety to whisper every nuance of suggestion, both form and color. This is the holy grail of papers for the discerning artist who wants his images to be incomparable and exquisite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super-chunky texture makes it almost 3D This paper is thick and very textured. I'm using it in an Epson 3880 and it feeds well in the manual rear feeder. The color is a bit warm; the matte finish doesn't get super black. But for the right image, this can make a wonderful print.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Paper Starting to print my photos...this is a very nice heavy paper. Has some texture if that is a desired result for your photo.
