A natural white, mould-made watercolor paper, Albrecht Durer from Hahnemuhle, available here as a 25-pack of 8.5 x 11" sheets, has a distinct textured surface that lends itself beautifully to fine art applications and reproductions. A premium matte inkjet coating ensures proper ink retention on the 50% cotton and 50% alpha cellulose base while also providing a high dynamic range and wide color gamut. Along with this, it has a basis weight of 210 gsm and a thickness of 13.8 mil as well as a rated opacity of 96.5% and a whiteness of 88.5%. Also, it does not use any optical brightening agents in order to grant archival properties and is both acid free and calcium carbonate buffered. Additionally, the matte surface features a very high water resistance.

Hahnemuhle Albrecht Durer Matte FineArt Reviews
Just Beautiful
This paper, much like most Hahnemuhle papers is truly beautiful. This, the Albrecht Durer Matte Fine Art paper is in my opinion one of their nicest papers available. The colors, when used with the available ICC profiles is just gorgeous. Or you may use EPSON textured FineArt profile and get equally excellent results. The hand the feel the look of this paper just exudes quality. The only thing I wish is that it just a bit more heft, but it feels great in the hand. If you want the sharpness and image quality retained, color fidelity in your photo or art to come through, this is the paper.
Superior fine art matte paper
One of my favorite papers for printing higher contrast black and white images. I LOVE the texture, but I initially thought it would be incompatible with some of my images. To my surprise it enhanced them. The paper is not as thick as many of the smooth matte papers but it still feels substantial and sturdy. Perhaps this is due to the mix of alpha-cellulose with cotton? I have not printed color images so cannot attest to that, but I expect I would not be disappointed. I highly recommend this paper.
