Hahnemuhle Baryta Reviews
What a pleasant surprise
After having issues with another paper, the team at B &H found this paper that met our needs better than could be expected. We needed a high gloss paper with a bright white and this one meets our needs in all ways. It is a bit of a miss-named paper in that glossy is not obvious. Baryta FB does indeed mimmic darkroom papers with the FB (fiber base) name. Though nothing can come close to a silver gelatin print on inkjet, this one is by far the best so far. Congratulations!
Very Close to Darkroom
This paper is incredible and very close to Ilford fiber gloss. I use it for Piezography prints and they're frankly stunning. 2 notes: It's maybe a little too bright white? I'd love to see this surface with no OBAs. Also, I don't think this paper needs to be 350gsm. The heavy weight is super high end, but I'd love to see a lower cost version of it. Once it's behind a matte, I'm not thinking at all about it's weight.
