The Kramer HDMI over Twisted Pair Receiver is used to receive HDMI signals sent over a twisted pair cable. Supporting a maximum data rate of up to 1.65Gbps, the receiver supports HDMI v1.4 with 3D, Deep Color, x.v.Color, HDMI uncompressed audio channels, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD, and 3D Pass-through. Converting the twisted pair cable signal back to DVI, the receiver offers a maximum range of up to 330’ (100m) for 1080i or up to 256’ (80m) for 1080p resolutions using the shielded BC-DGKat723 cable.
With EDID PassThru, the Twisted Pair Receiver passes the EDID/HDCP signals from source to display for avoiding compatibility issues with the connected display. The Power Connect System allows both the transmitter and the receiver to be powered with a single connection when the units are within 270’ (90m) of each other. The transmitter requires a 12V DC power supply (included) for operation, and features LED indicators that light red when receiving power only, orange when output and power are attached, and yellow when both an active input and an output are attached. In addition, 4 units can be mounted side-by-side in 1U rack space with the optional RK-4PT rack adaptor.
