Mount your camcorder or small/mid-size ENG-style camera onto your shoulder and in front of your body for handheld shots with this Offset Shoulder Rig from SHAPE. The baseplate system features an ENG-style baseplate, an offset 15mm rod clamp, a composite mini shoulder pad, a back pad, and two 15mm rods that measure 10" in length.
The aluminum baseplate features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera screws to mount your camera, 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory mounting threads for a variety of accessories, and 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 bottom threads for mounting onto a tripod or rig. The 15mm offset rod clamp mounts onto the baseplate using two screws and offsets the rig so it places the camera in front of your body. The two included 10" 15mm rods mount onto the offset LWS rod block for additional accessories.
The shoulder pad also mounts onto the 15mm rods using its 15mm LWS rod block, and it provides a comfortable fit on your shoulder. The back pad mounts onto the shoulder pad and provides a secure fit on your shoulder, and also a mount for separately available counterweights.
