The Kirk FB-6 Macro Flash Flip Bracket uses an Arca-type quick release clamp as its connection point for the camera. This means that you can use a plate from any of the many different brands that manufacture Arca-compatible plates.
The primary purpose of this bracket is to allow the flash to be positioned leaning forward just above the end of the lens, which is very useful for macro photography. The 2-way joint between the horizontal and vertical arms gives it this flexibility.
