The RTW TMR7 TouchMonitor is a table-top 7" audio monitoring visual touch screen (16 : 9 TFT) which includes a moveable table-stand and a designed to be easy-to-use (GUI) graphical interface, and a mains adapter. Connection of various signal sources is achieved through Ethernet, VGA, 2 x USB 2.0, GPIO, and 24 VDC connectors. The TouchMonitor also has a mounted 4-channel audio interface consisting of 4 digital inputs (2 x AES3 In, XLR-F) and 4 digital outputs (2 x AES3 Out, XLR-M) and is a 4-channel metering solution for broadcast environments which includes loudness, true peak, PPM, vectorscope, moving-coil instruments, RTA, and correlation.
The TouchScreen is designed to integrate all metering options required in radio broadcasting. Its two AES3 digital inputs allow for parallel monitoring of the on-air signal and a PFL source and are flexibly configurable for mono, stereo, or multichannel sources, providing separate instruments for each source. Plus, the GPIO interface for overall control, the Ethernet port, and the VGA output for external display units offer even more functionality.
Due to its versatile interfaces, the TMR7 simplifies integration into any studio environment. The TouchMonitor is designed to be intuitive in its operation and also offers a high range of flexibility. Freely scalable instruments can be moved to any position on the graphical surface, allowing you to personalize the entire screen area. Views, scaling, and metering standards are separately definable for each signal source. In addition, the convenient on-screen help function supports you during the setup whenever needed.
The hardware and software of the TMR7 TouchMonitor are specifically adjusted to radio-broadcast requirements. The standard software includes basic stereo PPM with analog scales (DIN +5, Nordic, British IIa, British IIb) and digital scales (0 to -60 dB, +3 to -60 dB TruePeak, quasi-DIN, quasi-Nordic, quasi-British IIa and IIb), peak hold, phase meter (correlator), a global keyboard, and gain reduction. Other software modules are available as options.
Where space is an issue, the footprint of the TMR7 has been minimized to approx. 7.80 x 5.49 (6.42) x 1.81 (3.74)" (with table-stand).
