FLIR SIRAS Overview

Execute and complete aerial missions quickly and successfully when deploying the SIRAS Professional Drone with Thermal & Visible Camera Payload from FLIR. Within two minutes of powering on, the SIRAS is ready to fly critical professional and first responder missions. Equipped with a 3-axis stabilized gimbal and Vue TV128 thermal/visible payload, inspections, search and rescue, firefighting, and law enforcement personnel can more easily locate targets and gain situational awareness day and night. SIRAS can withstand harsh conditions thanks to IP54-rated water and dust resistance, 22.4 mph wind resistance, and a 10 to 104° F operation range. Additional features ensure quick and safe arrival on the scene, and everything you need to fly is included.

Fast and Safe Execution
With no cumbersome geofencing, an in-the-sky time of roughly two minutes, and a max flight speed of 40 mph, the SIRAS can arrive on the scene quickly. If terrain conditions force pilots to slow down, the front collision avoidance system and underside ground-detection sensors will help to keep the drone safe from accidents while en route. The front system has a 98.4' range at 11.2 mph and is radar-based, which allows it to function day and night. If night flights are required, red and white beacons can alert bystanders and ground-based personnel to the drone's presence. You can choose to turn them off, fully on, or have them blink.
Data Security
The images gathered during professional operations, whether for public safety or private industry, can be highly sensitive and proprietary. This is why FLIR stores everything captured onboard the SIRAS using a microSD card. A pre-formatted 64GB card is included to get you started right out of the box. In addition, the drone does not allow connection to the cloud, and pilots are not required to have an online account to fly, which helps prevent data leaks.
Long Range Flight
The included remote controller can maintain a real-time link to the SIRAS from up to 6 miles away using a wireless 2.4/5.8 GHz dual-band connection. At this range, pilots can enjoy a live visible or thermal view of the drone's surroundings on the controller's built-in 1080p30 display.
Return to Home
To maximize the safety of the drone and those around it, FLIR incorporates an automatic return-to-home feature if the remote connection is lost or the battery reaches 25% capacity.
