I bought this lens for my travels and at first I did not love it because when I first used it I was indoors in an apartment but the second I took it outside for it's intended purposes I fell in love it. It was the best feeling and whatever initial regret I had was instantly gone. I love The zoom capabilities and I will be bringing this lens everywhere I go
Best 24-120 Nikon has ever made.

Very surprised with the overall quality, weight & smooth bokeh (between 60-120mm). Used w/ Z6III which has incredible high iso therefore it doesn't justify the extra stop of the Z 24-70 2.8 and its price. Nikon user for over 28 years & never expected the results I got with this F4.

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 S Lens (Nikon Z) does not have a lock; however, it is very unlikely for this lens to creep out due to the zooming mechanism in the lens barrel.

Nikon refers to the Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 S Lens as having excellent weather sealing. However, they refer to the 24-70mm f2.8 Z lens as having extensive weather sealing. Therefore it is likely that the weather seals on the 24-120mm are not the top of the line.

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 S Lens (Nikon Z) extends when zooming. Nikon calls a lens that does not extend when zooming an internal zoom lens.
