Control your rig from one flexible nerve center with the MIDI Footswitch from Darkglass Electronics, a footswitch controller with five footswitches for presets and five banks from which to choose. Capable of being powered by a 9V power adapter (sold separately), USB-C, 7-pin DIN MIDI, and 1/4" via Darkglass amps, the MIDI Footswitch can slip seamlessly into numerous setups.
Each footswitch button sports an RGB LED indicator. With the Darkglass Suite and a USB connection, you can easily send USB MIDI and customize your presets and MIDI configurations to support a wide range of Darkglass or generic MIDI devices. The Darkglass Suite can also be used to customize MIDI CC and PC messages. With a 1/4" cable and compatible Darkglass amp, the MIDI Footswitch can be used as a Super Intelligent Footswitch.
Optionally, you can use this pedal as a Super Intelligent Footswitch with compatible Darkglass amps, in which case the pedal can be powered entirely by it's 1/4" TS connection with the amp. Finally, when used with certain Darkglass amps like the e500, you can power this pedal via a 7-pin DIN MIDI cable connection. When used as a Super Intelligent Footswitch (1/4" TS), with USB-C, or connected via 7-pin MIDI, no external power supply is needed.
