This much desired item was on Back-Order for several months, but B & H kept me informed as its availability. I was repeatedly give the option of cancelling this order and buying something else or, continue waiting for the CF-DC4 to come in. My patience was rewarded. The case came finally came in and it's everything I read it would be. It s well constructed and fits like a charm over my D-750 even with the 24-120mm Lens and Lens Hood on. Glad I waited. B & H is to be commended for keeping me informed as to the status of my order and making sure I received the CF-DC4 as soon as it was available. Great Job. J.A. Ray II, Esquire

Superb case. I'm using it with D850 and 24-120. The quality of this case is unmatched-leather that smells like leather and nothing but leather. Will outlast me and my great grandchildren.

Will this fit a Nikon D850 with a 24 f1.8 lens? Will it be snug or will there be some space??

According to Nikon's compatibility chart, yes, the Nikon D850 DSLR Camera will fit in the Nikon CF-DC4 Semi-Soft Case with the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24mm f/1.8G ED Lens, and will fit stored with the filter, lens cap, and bayonet lens hood in the reverse position.

The case is wide enough to keep the hoods on in reverse. The case is not long enough to have the hood attached for shooting.

It should fit fine. The case is meant to fit most small prime lenses. Once you get into longer focal lengths or zooms it won't fit.
