In the late 1970's Minolta and Leica made a joint venture and shared technologies to produce a hand full of cameras.Untill the introdution of the Leica M6 the CLE held the distinction of being the most technologically advanced Leica M mount camera. The Minolta CLE is one of these cameras.
It is a compact 35mm rangefinder camera that takes Leica M mount lenses.The rangefinder couples to 28,40 and 90mm lenses.Other lenses form 12mm-135mm can be used with a viewfinder.
