This Rolleiflex 3.5F cames with a 5 element,f/3.5 Schneider Xenotar which is outstanding wide open.It has is a built-in leaf shutter with speeds of 1 second to 1/500, and B. The taking and viewing lenses have the Rollei Bay II bayonet. The shutter speed and aperture are controlled by knobs which are controlled by your thumbs. Shutter and aperture settings are visible at waist level through a small window on top of the taking lens.
The Waist Level Finder and can be used a as focusing sportsfinder.The cameras' focusing screen is interchangeable. This Rollei 3.5F takes 120 film and will produce 12-2 1/4" square negative or slides. It is extremerly well built, and the controls and movements are smooth Viewing is through the waist level finder with flip up magnifier. The screen in mine had a grid as well as a center spot.Parallax compensation is automatic, with a moving mask under the focusing screen.
