Designed for advanced amateurs and professionals alike, this monolight is ideally suited for location photography as well as run-and-gun applications. Throw it in your bag or a jacket pocket, and you're ready to make the most of whatever location you might find yourself in.

Engineered for off-camera wireless use, the A2 Monolight features built-in AirX functionality and is compatible with Profoto Air and Connect Pro remotes. You can sync the flash with any camera that has a hot shoe, and you can even capture images with a smartphone via built-in Bluetooth. Additionally, the light is compatible with the Profoto Clic System, a series of powerful light shaping tools for use with A-series flashes.

Profoto Control Desktop App
The brand adds the free Profoto Control Desktop app to expand your control options and enable fast, precise, and consistent adjustments. The app offers seamless control over your Profoto light right from your Mac computer—improving any studio workflow and lighting setup whether you're working with a single light or multi-light setups. Some of the many features of the Profoto Control Desktop app are the ability to save and reuse custom presets, independent control of up to six lighting groups, tethering integration, and firmware updates.

Note: Compatible with any Mac computer running macOS 14.6 or later.
