Reference Hi-Res Audio Playback
The pristine musical output of the DX260 Mk2 starts with the core combination of iBasso's flagship CS43198 Octa DAC Chip Matrix, FPGA-Master 2.0 audio system controller, the FIR filters it constructs, and other supporting components. The FPGA-Master 2.0 requests audio from the DAP's Qualcomm 665 SoC, synchronizes all audio clocks with dual NDK femtosecond oscillators into a single clock source, and creates the FIR filter. It then works with the filter in either FIR 2x or 4x modes to control and adjust the DAC's data streams with picosecond-level precision, averages the differences between the DACs, and ultimately outputs audio with drastically reduced distortion, incredibly accurate detail, and impressive realism.
Dual Routing Power System
When connected to enough external power, the DX260 Mk2 will direct it into two routes. The first one will be to directly power the DAP as you use it, overriding the need to draw power from the internal battery. The second route will go directly to the battery to recharge it if needed, they bypass the battery altogether once finished. The dual-routing system helps to not only extend the lifespan of the battery, but also mitigates overheating issues when simultaneously using and charging the DAP.
Android 13 with Mango OS
A combination of Android 13 and Mango OS lets you experience all that mobile streaming has to offer. With Android 13, you get access to the complete Android experience and the ability to download your favorite streaming apps to the DX260 Mk2. Mango OS is a Linux-based system with the Mango Player app, which has been thoroughly optimized for virtually no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth interference, low EMI, and pure audio playback.
