The Tilta PPower Pass-Through Plate for Select DJI Gimbals is a power expansion plate that attaches to your RS 2, RS 3, or RS 3 PRO gimbal in place of the standard camera sled. It can be used in two different ways to power your camera and multiple accessories. You can pair it with a dedicated Tilta Battery Plate for Power Pass-Through Plate, sold separately, in which case a V-mount or Gold mount battery can be used to power it. Or you can attach to it the optional Tilta Power Supply Base Plate for DJI RS 2. With this latter option, an included D-Tap to LEMO cable is used to connect the two.
The Power Pass-Through Plate supports the standard RS 2 quick release plate and the Manfrotto extender plate supported by the gimbal. It offers two D-Tap and two 2-pin LEMO ports. When it's used with the dedicated battery plate mentioned above, all four ports can be used as outputs for your camera and accessories. When it's used with the Power Base, one of the ports functions as an input for the included D-Tap to LEMO cable. The Pass-Through Plate also allows for improved balancing of your camera and better overall gimbal performance, thanks to a more optimized center of gravity.
