The dust, crush, and waterproof 1637AirWF Wheeled Hard Case from Pelican is made from lightweight HPX2 polymer to protect your sensitive gear during transport and storage. The updated push-button latching system uses compressive force to tightly clamp the case shut on three sides. This edition of the 1637Air comes with three layers of Pick-N-Pluck foam so you can customize the interior to fit your specific gear. There's also a solid foam base layer and a convoluted egg crate foam lid insert for complete protection. Carry it with the three overmolded handles or roll it using the built-in wheels and extendable pull handle.
The case is made from super-light proprietary HPX2 polymer with honeycomb structural elements, which is up to 40% lighter than most other Pelican polymers. Case design features include an O-ring that seals it to an IP67-rating for dust and water resistance, dual 5/16" diameter stainless steel reinforced padlock holes, and a pressure relief valve. This valve regulates the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed and allowing you to open the case without having to break a tough pressurized seal that may develop. For easy identification, there's a polycarbonate card holder on the front of the case.
