This A2 is the second in the EOS line, is a technological and engineering trailblazer. Features include 16-zone metering that is linked to the five focus points, spot, center weighted and average metering, shutter and aperture priority AE, shiftable program AE, a powerful built-in TTL flash (ISO 100 GN 43-56 ft.) , second-curtain sync and flash exposure compensation. The EOS A2 offers whisper drive, which offers near-silent movement of film at a fast 5 fps rate. Its 16 custom functions include mirror pre-lock, film rewind with leader out, manual film speed setting. Full lines of interchangeable focusing screens and lenses are available.
