This 15mm LWS Baseplate with Arca-Type Dovetail Plate from Sirui integrates an Arca-type sliding quick release top plate, a 2-in-1 Arca/Manfrotto quick release bottom plate, and a dual 15mm rod clamp onto a single mounting device for maximum compatibility. Attach rigs up to 33 lb onto the baseplate thanks to its multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads.
Locking levers make up the dual locking system to ensure your camera remains secure on the baseplate system. A dual 15mm rod clamp allows you to incorporate rod-based accessories like lens supports or follow focus motors.
15mm Rod Extension
The universal camera baseplate features 15mm rod support clamps, allowing the attachment of a pair of 15mm rods (such as AM-CR200). This facilitates the connection of various accessories such as lens support, follow focus, lens hood, battery plate, or shoulder rig, forming a professional video setup.
Arca-Type Quick Release Plate
A top ARCA-type quick-release plate is compatible with cinema cameras, DSLR cameras, camcorders, and camera cages with built-in Arca-type bases.
NOTE: It is recommended to utilize Sirui tripod heads with these Arca-type plates as there may be design differences in other brands.
Versatile Mounting Options
The bottom of the baseplate features a removable 2-in-1 quick-release plate suitable for Arca-type or Manfrotto receivers. Or you can mount it directly onto a tripod using the 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads. When the quick release plate at the bottom is removed, there are threads for direct connection to a tripod.
Safety Features
The top quick release plate adopts an anti-drop anchor design, effectively preventing accidental slips of valuable equipment. The surface of the plate is also equipped with a rubber pad to prevent scratching of the camera. Quick transitions between a tripod and a gimbal can be accomplished swiftly using the side locking mechanism.
