Canon A-1 Overview

The Canon A-1 is a multi-mode, user-friendly and reliable camera. It was a development of the ultra-successful Canon AE-1, offering the AE-1's automation plus Program AE and Aperture Priority auto exposure modes.

The A-1 was the first camera to use digital computing technology. It is compatible with the full line of Canon FD-mount manual focus lenses.

Shutter speed and aperture displayed in 1/2 step increments. Viewfinder information can be turned off. Standard viewfinder diopter setting is -1.
