Mojave Audio MA-300 Multi-Pattern Vacuum Tube Condenser Microphone

The MA-300 Multi-Pattern Microphone from Mojave is a large-diaphragm vacuum tube condenser that is designed for accurate reproduction of vocals and instruments for music, voice-over and other recording applications. The MA-300 incorporates continuously variable polar-pattern switching that is remotely controlled from the included power supply. The pattern can be set anywhere between omnidirectional and figure-8, with cardioid in the center. For recording louder sound sources, such as when used as a drum overhead, the microphone is equipped with a switchable 15 dB pad that attenuates the signal to help eliminate distortion. It also has a bass roll-off that cuts the signal 6 dB per octave below 100 Hz. This may be useful when recording an electric guitar, for example, to filter unwanted frequencies that if left un-filtered would cloud up your mix.
