The Pentax 75mm f/4.5 is a basic, moderately wide angle lens that is an interesting alternative to the 55 and 90mm lenses. It provides a wider perspective and greater depth-of-field than the standard 90mm lens. It is useful where space is limited but a pronounced wide angle effect is not desirable.
Pentax lenses have been developed using the latest in computer-assisted optical design technology. Lens surfaces are treated with Pentax's exclusive Super-Multi-Coating for sharp, high-contrast images.
This is the original Takumar 75mm lens for the 67 system. The primary difference from the later f/4.5 model is a metal focusing ring vs. rubber.
