The device is powered by EMC storage technology and boasts an impressive 12 TB of data storage capacity.
The StorCenter px4-300d offers cross-platform file sharing, as well as simultaneous iSCSI block access. High Capacity
Supports 12 TB of data storage capacity via 4x SATA HDD bays. Empty bays are fitted with a drive carrier, which is capable of accommodating 2.5" and 3.5" drives. Drives are available from Iomega (not included) or may be purchased from approved vendors.
SSD Support
For IO intensive applications, you can fit the px4-300d with SSD's (solid state drives) to improve performance (SSDs not included).

Data Organization And Access
Windows DFS organizes folders and files on a network, so that they seem to all be in a single directory tree on one Iomega StorCenter system--even if the folders actually "live" on many devices in various locations. WebDAV (Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning) allows for viewing, adding, or deleting files on a StorCenter from the Internet, via HTTP or HTTPS for increased security.

Public Cloud Backup lets you utilize one of the integrated 3rd party cloud-based storage services, including Amazon S3 or MozyConnect, to replicate data from the StorCenter to your public cloud account.
