The MyPhones Volume-Limiting Children's Headphones from Griffin Technology provide high-quality audio in a compact design that's fun and kid-friendly. The headphones have large 30mm drivers in a custom-designed shell to deliver true sound reproduction. The adjustable headband and thick, washable cushions provide a snug and comfortable fit for kids big and small.
In order to help prevent hearing damage caused by excessive volume levels, the headphones have an always-on sound control circuit built in that caps peak volume levels at 85dB. This is the maximum level recommended by many auditory health organizations in the US and around the world.
The headphones have a thick and robust single-sided cable that's resistant to tangles and snags, built to withstand the rigors of day-to-day use. The cable has a standard 3.5mm plug to offer wide compatibility with MP3 players, CD players, computers, and other audio devices. Multiple interchangeable earcaps are included so your child can mix and match designs. Templates are included so kids can create their own designs and express their creativity. The included carrying case also has decorative inserts, or you can create your own.
