The Griffin Technology GuitarConnect Cable for iPad, iPhone & iPod Touch was designed specifically for use with Frontier Design Group's iShred LIVE application for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. The cable features a heavy-duty 1/4" mono plug to connect your guitar, bass or keyboard. The other end of the six foot cable features a 1/8" stereo plug to connect your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. There's also an alternate 1/8" jack for connecting your headphones, amplifier or powered speakers. When used with iShred LIVE, which is available for download for free from the Apple App Store, it turns the touch screen on your Apple device into a mobile guitar rig, studio and practice room. The iShred LIVE app features guitar effects, a digital tuner, metronome, and playalong/practice player that lets you play along with your favorite songs.
