    Sensei LCR-N reviews

Rear Lens Cap for Nikon F Lenses is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 32.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The virtue of simplicity I've been frustrated for a long time by the standard Nikon rear lens cap (LF-4) where there are three positions where the cap drops down on the lens bayonet mount, but only one that will allow you to screw the cap on securely. Yes.. you can line up the dot on the cap with the one on the camera, but for the cap it's black on black. When I went to order some Nikon LF-1 caps I found that they were no longer made. Luckily the Sensei rear lens cap is just like the LF-1. With this cap, you just set it down on the lens mount and turn CCW until the cap is secure. Now when I'm trying to make a quick lens change out in the field, the lens cap is the least of my problems.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent Replacement It serves its purpose. It does fit on my Nikon lens but it does not screw on/off nearly as smoothly as the genuine. The first time I put it on the lens, I thought it was cross-threaded but it's just how it fits. If you can find the genuine Nikon for a close price, I would go with that. But if the Nikon is WAY more expensive (like it was when I bought) then this is what you want.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT PRODUCT Of course I tend to lose anything that isn't attached to something large, like a rock, car or house. So, naturally, I have lost several rear lense caps for my Nikon DSLR. I ordered three Sensei caps and they fit perfectly, snug and easy to remove. I am in the bush alot and always fear to contaminate my rear lenses. These covers solve that problem. Stock up for future needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A simple lens cap I had difficulty finding a simple nikon rear lens cap. However, on my visit to NYC I went to B&H to look at a camera and ask if they had the lens cap I needed. I expected their response to be no. But to my surprise it was yes. Thanks B&H for my simple lens cap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yup its definitely a rear lens cap Its a cap that on the rear of the lens... (exciting review here) Fits fine, gotta say though, I prefer the cheapo push-on rear caps because I can do it with one hand which is easier, faster, and less likely to drop gear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Rear Lens Cap The Sensei Rear Lens cap for Nikon F mount are really nicely made, nice grip, and even have a reference dot for mounting. They fit well, not too loose or too tight like some other low cost rear caps. Excellent!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I screw on cap I would purchase again If losing end caps is your thing, this is the right purchase. For only a few bucks, your lens will be protected. I like that it's a screw on cap, not just pop on and off. Those never stay on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value It's a rear lens cover - how sophisticated does it need to be? Unless you have to have the Nikon name on everything, these are ideal replacements.
