And its seems to be very durable ... I bump around a lot shooting in a small space but these bulbs haven't blown out like others have.

Can you use dimmers to lower or raise the intensity of that bulb?

The Ushio BBA Incandescent Photoflood Lamp (250W / 115-120V) can work with dimmers made for bulbs like that. Note, using a dimmer on this type of bulb will change the color temperature and make the light warmer color.
