The Marshall Electronics Battery-Powered 3G-SDI to HDMI Cross Converter (PV- Panasonic) is used to convert input signals between an HDMI and a 3G-SDI source with audio for distribution over 2 output ports. Accepting input from a 3G-SDI source, it can be used to provide signals to an HDMI source while simultaneously supplying the same input through the 3G-SDI output port. Featuring automatic input video format detection, the converter allows automatic input port switching of the signal to their respective output ports.
With a built-in SD format interlacer, the Portable Battery-Powered 3G-SDI to HDMI Cross Converter supports 480p to 480i conversion required for DSLR while recording. Including a PV (Panasonic) battery plate, the cross converter can be used with a 7.2V or a 14.4V battery for operation. In addition, it also includes an EIA 12V jack that is used to power the unit via a power adaptor.
The Portable Battery-Powered 3G-SDI to HDMI Cross Converter comes with an 8-position piano switch for input port selection and power save, and features LED indicators which indicate speed and health of the connection. A USB service port is also included for future upgrade of the converter. The converter is housed in a rugged metal alloy case, and includes 1/4-20 dual size mounting holes.
