A very bright, beautiful and medium warm light. Not sure about it’s longevity because I just purchased it but I hope get the full 100 hours of life from it.
I have a really good feeling about this light. I'm pretty sure if I put it in my Impact 300w light, it's gonna work. So excited.
works good, color is good best use in soft box because the fill is not as good as the original
The bulb works in my copy stand.
I am a special event videographer. Occasionally, depending on location I need extra lights. I bought the Lowel Omni Light, with 300 watts lamp. I was using it for the first time yesterday Sunday April 27. I had a wedding celebration at a Country Club down Lakewood NJ. Using the light with my Canon 5D, was very disappointed. The light gave me a yellowish glow.
The replacement bulbs for Impact Qualite 300 (B&H # IMLQL300) are well over $20. This generic bulb is only $ and works just as good if not better. As an independent filmmaker, keeping costs down as much as possible without taking away from quality of image, sound and light, is key. I highly recommend this replacement bulb for that very reason.
I found this bulb to work well as a replacement. The only complaint I would have is that this bulb gives off a slight bright spot in the middle. You can essentially see the little bit that's on the end of the light bulb when you light something. It isn't that bad unless you are lighting a wall without any diffusion. Usually on people it isn't very noticeable.
Great Price compared to other replacement bulbs. Great color temp as well.
