Leader LF990 Overview

The Leader LF990 Signal Level Meter offers support for analog and digital terrestrial broadcast systems, and can be used to scrutinize systems undergoing a change from analog to digital. Essentially, it is a multi-functional field measurement device designed specially for ISDB-Tb terrestrial television format, which is implemented in South / Central America. In addition, the meter supports CATV RF signals and detects terrestrial and CATV channels using an automatic search function.

Compatible with QPSK, 16-256QAM, and OFDM modulation formats, you can use the LF990 Signal Level Meter to measure the RF level, carrier to noise level (C/N), BER, MER, and delay profile. This unit accepts 5 - 870 MHz frequencies for digital terrestrial and 950 MHz - 2.6 GHz for satellite signals frequencies. Measurements are shown as a spectral display (7, 21, and 49 MHz spans) or as a constellation pattern on the TFT color screen.

Using the measurement log, you can track measurements and output them as comma-separated values for use in a spreadsheet. For future use, the presets and measurement logs can be stored in a USB pen drive via a USB port (type A). The other available USB port (type B) can be used for data output, remote control, and for connection to a printer. The LF990 can be powered via an AC adaptor or a Li-Ion battery (included) for extended operation.
