The OP/TECH USA 15" Soft Wrap (Steel Gray) provides extra protection for lenses, cameras, light meters, small tripods or monopods. It has an extra 5.0" pad within the wrap that can be moved around to provide added protection.

I've had one of these on a large format lens for many years. Today I opened it up and the padded fabric is completely decomposing, turning into almost microscopic bits of synthetic dirt. Gets everywhere. Had to throw it out, laboriously clean the lens, vacuum the whole studio. The lens/wrap have never been exposed to moisture or extreme temperatures. This is just a case of a manufacture failing to research the stability of the materials.
This is definitely a well-padded, quality-made item just as Optech is known for, but be advised that it is large enough to fit any full-sized 35mm= DSLR lens and is really not suited for use with mirrorless camera equipment. It takes up a lot of space, which may be good for some but not for others. That being said, it will always find good use in your bag somewhere.
