The Rode MiCon 7 Connector is intended for use with all Rode headsets and microphones that utilize MiCon connectors, such as the Rode Pinmic and lavalier microphones. The adapter is intended to connect Rode MiCon compatible microphones to Lectrosonics' wireless bodypack transmitters. The MiCon 7 features a TA5-F (mini 5-pin female) connector that is compatible with the Lectrosonics SM Series, UMa Series, LMa Series and UM450.

I've had the Micon-7 for a couple years and I rarely use it as well as my Pinmic. I treat it well. When not in use it stays in the Otter Box. I used it a few months ago and it worked fine, went to use it a couple days ago and got nothing. Switched to the full size XLR Micon and it worked. Tried with the 3.5 TRS Micon and it worked. I think I used this Micon-7 maybe 10 or 11 times total. This connector should last a lot longer!
It made me very happy to find that it works with an old set of Lectrosonics I have, the UM195.
